Priyanka Chopra Approvers Johnny Depp-Amber Heard’s Lawsuit Being Compared To 'Aitraaz'; Netizens Say: Bollywood Was Way Ahead Of This Trial
The recently concluded Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s defamation case made a lot of noise and fans continue to witness several new turns. The Aquaman actress turned out to be the victim and she was asked to pay $15 million in damages to her former husband.

Meanwhile, a recent report suggests that Amber’s lawyers have filed a motion before the Virginia court to dismiss the aforementioned defamation trial verdict along with Johnny Depp's entire defamation case against her, claiming that he has “no evidence.”

Now, a social media user took to Twitter and pointed out uncanny similarities between the trial and Abbas-Mustan’s 2004 hit Aitraaz starring Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

The user shared the stills from the film with screenshots of the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial the user tweeted, “Bollywood was definitely ahead of this trial”.

Well, from the looks of it, even Priyanka Chopra Jonas seems to have approved the meme comparison as she liked the tweet.

On the other hand, another user shared a picture of Amrish Puri’s character from the film alongside that of Elon Musk, whose name also cropped up in the case. Another also shared similar sentiments and wrote, “I Think I downloaded the wrong Johnny depp and  Amber Herd trial”, while posting stills from Aitraaz.

Reacting to the tweet, someone wrote, “Akshay already made a biopic on Depp. Always 2 steps ahead”.

Another replied, “Akshay Kumar ne future mein jaa kar ye incident dekh liya tha aur pehle hi movie bana diya taaki koi aur iss incident par movie na bana paaye”.

A netizen also shared a picture of Johnny Depp and his lawyer Camille Vasquez as she was compared with the 2001 film Kasoor directed by Vikram Bhatt starring Aftab Shivdasani and Lisa Ray in the roles of an accused and his lawyer, respectively.

The user wrote, “Will the story of #Kasoor become real??? @AftabShivdasani @Lisaraniray”.

Not to mention, neither Aitraaz nor Kasoor were original films.

While Aitraaz was a rip-off of the 1994 Hollywood film Disclosure, Kasoor was copied from the 1985 Hollywood film Jagged Edge.
